On April 12, 2024 in the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting to summarize the results of activities for the first quarter of 2024 with the participation of heads of structural subdivisions of the Agency for Hydrometeorology.
The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Qurbonzoda Abdullo Habibullo. It considered the issue of summarizing the results of activities of the Agency for Hydrometeorology for the first quarter of 2024 and tasks for the first half of 2024.
According to the order of the meeting, Deputy Director of the Agency Sheralizoda N.Sh. spoke on the agenda items.
Then the reports of the heads of structural subdivisions of the Agency for Hydrometeorology were heard and discussed.
In the speech of the Head of the Department of Monitoring of Environmental Policy, Cadastre and Hydrometeorology Shukurzoda Isfandier Shukur under the representation of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, it was noted that the activities of the Agency for Hydrometeorology for the reporting period according to the results of analyses in all areas are assessed satisfactorily.
The Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology expressed his opinion on the issues on the agenda of the meeting, including that our main goal is practical implementation of the country's policy in the field of hydrometeorology, practical implementation of the global initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan respected Emomali Rahmon on "2025 - International Year of Glacier Protection", promotion of environmental monitoring, study and development of measures in the field of climate change and improvement of the level of environmental protection of glaciers.
