From August 12 to 17 of this year, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the World Food Program "WFP", held a training seminar on the topic “Study, installation and operation of the automated Persona-MIS and Persona MIP system” with the participation of 18 specialists of the state meteorological networks of Khatlon, Sughd regions, Mining-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and districts of republican subordination.
During the seminar, the Agency's leading experts made reports, presentations and practical training sessions for specialists of state meteorological networks on station programs such as providing operational data, including on the effective use of Persona-MIS and Persona-MIP systems.
In turn, the automated Persona-MIS and Persona-MIP system is a program that reflects all meteorological parameters, which provides primary processing of the entered meteorological data in identifying and clarifying errors.
It should be mentioned that the primary system for processing, collecting and analyzing meteorological data of stations (the primary system for processing and analyzing meteorological information of stations (Persona Miss (WIN) - SACOJTMH(WIN)) It is implemented in most meteorological services of the world. The PERSONA MIS software package is being improved using joint data from stations and observation posts, taking into account a wide range of controlled parameters.
The PERSON-MIP (WIN) system, on the other hand, is a technology for converting historical access point data (DOS version) into the current format for presenting data to the system to provide special data access.
It should be particularly noted that the conduct of training events leads to the improvement of the theoretical and practical knowledge of industry specialists, improving their professional skills and plays an important role in the software that allows you to work with station data.
