This event will be held within the framework of the UN General Assembly resolution adopted at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon. The conference will become a platform for developing global measures to protect glaciers. It was noted that such a conference will be held for the first time.
The event was attended by ministers and representatives of environmental agencies of Central Asia and Mongolia, including the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Turkmenistan.
