Journalists from across Tajikistan, including national and regional newspapers, TV channels, the Eco-Journalists’ Club, and the CEP media team, gathered for a training seminar on “Strengthening Scientific Reporting on Glacier Melting and Preservation”, organized by the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank.
Led by an international media expert, the session focused on sharpening journalistic skills in covering the issue of glacier melting, climate change, and environmental protection – all in the lead-up to the 2025 International High-Level Conference on Glaciers' Preservation.
As glaciers continue to melt rapidly, the need to highlight this issue has never been more important.
