On 23–24 October this year, a national consultation workshop was held on the topic of ‘Developing guidelines, protocols and indicators for data collection, archiving updates and monitoring actions within the framework of Nationally Determined Contributions’.
This event was organised on the initiative of the Agency for hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
The main objective of the workshop was to develop a deep understanding among participants of the principles, tools and methods for developing national guidelines, protocols and indicators based on the Training Plan and Guidelines for Implementing the Enhanced Transparency Framework for the Collection, Storage, Updating and Effective Analysis of Data within the Context of Nationally Determined Contributions.
