The Republic of Tajikistan is a member of the CIS Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology (ICH)
The CIS Interstate Council for Hydrometeorology (ICH) was established on February 8, 1992 in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Hydrometeorology. The CIS MSG was created to solve the problems of timely receipt and use of hydrometeorological information, which is necessary for forecasting hydrometeorological processes, their impact on the environment, timely informing and warning authorities and the public, and effective use in the economy and defense sectors of the Commonwealth member states.
