On 12 November this year the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Qurbonzoda Abdullo Habibullo had a bilateral meeting with the Secretary of the Intergovernmental Panel (CTNC) Honourable Rajiv Gard.
It should be noted that the activities of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (CTNC) in the areas of food security, water, energy, industry, construction, economy and other areas affected by climate change are effective. The Secretary of the Intergovernmental Group (CTNC) Rajiv Gard noted that the international experts will visit the Republic of Tajikistan for the first time in recent years and will start activities in the field of environmental protection and hydrometeorology.
At this meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of meteorology, hydrology and climate change within the framework of cooperation between the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (CTNC).
