On February 8, the management of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and industry experts held a bilateral meeting with the heads and representatives of the Swiss Cooperation Office "SDC" in Tajikistan - Richard Schoeneward, Advisor on Climate Change and Emergencies - Shodiboi Jaborov, Caritas in Switzerland program manager - Boris Orlovsky, regional office head - Shinan Kassam, regional office head - Safarali Yatimov. During this meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of weather, climate and glacier protection were discussed, where the parties agreed to hold the next meeting between the leadership of the Agency for Hydrometeorology and the Swiss Hydrometeorological Service. It should be noted that at this meeting an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and “Caritas Switzerland” in the field of hydrometeorological and climate services.
