The 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 12, 2023.
This Convention is held once a year with the participation of heads of state and a wide range of member countries, heads of international and regional organizations and other stakeholders.
The Republic of Tajikistan, as an independent country, approved the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 1998, and in 2017 approved the Paris Agreement, which is an integral part of this Convention, which defines the obligations of countries.
The National Pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan will be organized within the framework of the conference in order to present global initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear Emomali Rahmon on climate change, protection of glaciers and water resources, attracting the attention of the world community to the solution of the problem of water resources protection, presenting the achievements of the country in the field of study and storage of water resources, attracting the attention of interested parties to cooperation in the field of green energy production, efficient use of water resources, etc.
Within the framework of this conference, in order to introduce the policy of the member countries aimed at fulfillment of their obligations to the Convention, it is planned to organize events, meetings and gatherings, where delegations of the countries are planned to participate.
