On June 14, 2024, the management of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Tobias Siegfried, Executive Director of the consulting company "Hydrosolutions Ltd"- Switzerland, met, during which the issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of water resources management, hydrological monitoring and forecasting were raised.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish a framework for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Agency for Hydrometeorology and consulting company "Hydrosolutions Ltd", which in the future will be mainly focused on the use of innovative technologies and methodologies for sustainable monitoring and forecasting of water resources, wide use of software for hydrological observations "iEasyHydro HF", systems of modern forecasting models, improvement of knowledge and exchange of experience, as well as on the use of digital database.
During the meeting, the issue of further cooperation was raised and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two parties.
