On September 5, 2024 on the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the management, structural units of the central office of the Committee, the Agency for Hydrometeorology, the Main Department of Environmental Protection, centers and institutions of the Committee in the city of Dushanbe, as well as with the participation of veterans and labor activists, a solemn event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held.
The event was attended by representatives of governing bodies, including the state and political figure, deputy of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Musaeva Rafiqa Ganievna, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Ne'matzoda Maliksho Mahmadsho, and Chairman of the Environmental Commission of Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli Muhammadrahim Yusufi.
Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear Sheralizoda Bakhodur Ahmadjon in his opening speech emphasized the works of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear Emomali Rahmon on revival and development of independent Tajikistan and his unique activities in the world arena.
In turn, state and political figure, deputy of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Musaeva Rafiqa Ganievna, chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Ne'matzoda Maliksho Mahmadsho, chairman of the Environmental Commission of Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli Muhammadrahim Yusufiy highly appreciated the effective and creative role of the Republic of Tajikistan in the world to solve urgent issues of global and regional importance, such as ensuring security, stability and well-being of districts and neighborhoods.
Then, in a solemn atmosphere, the winners of the contests in the nominations ‘Best District’, ‘Best Mahalla’, ‘Best Institution’ and the contest among journalists on the theme ‘Goals and Prospects: the Way to a Green Future to Ensure Environmental Security’ were awarded with memorable gifts.
The event continued with a cultural and musical programme accompanied by vocal artists about love for the homeland.
