On October 4, 2024, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting to summarize the results of activities for the third quarter of 2024 with the participation of the heads of structural divisions of the Agency for Hydrometeorology.
The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Qurbonzoda Abdullo Habibullo. It considered the issue of summarizing the activities of the Agency for Hydrometeorology for the third quarter of 2024 and the tasks for the year 2024.

In a speech by the Head of the Department for Monitoring Environmental Policy, Cadastre and Hydrometeorology, Shukurzoda Isfandiyor Shukur at the representative office of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, it was noted that the activities of the Agency for Hydrometeorology during the reporting period were assessed satisfactorily based on the results of analyses in all areas.
In turn, the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology expressed his opinion on issues according to the agenda of the meeting, where, in particular, he stressed that our main goal is the practical implementation of the country's policy in the field of hydrometeorology, the practical implementation of global initiatives of the Founder of peace and national unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon on "The year 2025 - The International Year for the Protection of Glaciers", as well as the promotion of environmental monitoring, the study and development of measures in the field of climate change and raising the level of environmental awareness of the population.
