On August 21 of this year, at the initiative of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Global Environment Facility, a GAP analysis training was conducted to ensure a gender-inclusive roadmap, in accordance with the requirements of Strengthening the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF), including the ETF report, The Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and the Biannual Transparency Report (BTR) under the Paris Agreement, with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries, departments, universities and institutes of the country.

The training was organized within the framework of the initiative of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) with the aim of forming a gender-inclusive roadmap of the ETF based on analysis gaps aimed at strengthening the national climate reporting system and ensuring fuller implementation of the obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan under the Paris Agreement.

During the training, presentations were made on the topic "Gap Analysis (GAP) on climate finance in the Republic of Tajikistan", "Financing Plan (climate finance) for the implementation of certain national contributions", "Financing Plan for the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for the period up to 2030" and "The role of women in the sustainable management of natural resources" and other questions.

This training provides an important foundation for strengthening interagency cooperation, developing a climate reporting system, and promoting gender equality in national climate policy.
