On 24 October 2025, in accordance with the action plan of the Youth Council, the Agency for hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a training session for young employees of the Agency.
The training session began with a welcoming speech by the Chairman of the Youth Council of the Agency, In his speech, he emphasised that the founder of peace and national unity, the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, constantly calls on young people to develop self-awareness, strive for knowledge, pursue professional training, respect national values and protect state interests.
Then, the Deputy Head of the Environmental Monitoring Department of the Agency, N. Saifulloev, gave a presentation on ‘The Activities of the Environmental Monitoring Department,’ where he outlined the main areas of environmental monitoring and analysis, the collection and processing of air and surface water quality monitoring data, cooperation with relevant agencies, and the use of modern observation technologies.
Training sessions for young people provide an opportunity to improve their knowledge and professional skills, as well as to organise their activities in the field of environmental protection and monitoring more effectively.
