On November 14 of this year, a solemn meeting dedicated to the "33rd anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan" and the "Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan" was held in the meeting room of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the management and staff of the Agency's centers and departments.
At the beginning, the Deputy Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology, Mr. Pirzoda S.M., delivered a welcoming speech. He read out a congratulatory message from the Director of the Agency, Mr. Qurbonzoda A.H., to those present at the meeting.
In his speech, Pirzoda S.M, Deputy Director of the Agency, spoke about the achievements of the country during the period of independence, about the steadfast will and tireless aspiration of the outstanding son of the nation, the Founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, as well as about the historical role of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. In this context, the Agency's achievements in the field of hydrometeorology, its transformation into a reliable climate information system, contributing to the sustainable development of the national economy, environmental protection and ensuring the life security of the country's population were noted.
In the speeches of the relevant staff, it was emphasized that the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, which turned 33 this year, is a golden page in the history of Tajiks, and the role of the outstanding Leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, in ensuring complete peace, national unity and strengthening the foundations of the modern Tajik state is invaluable.
