On February 23, 2026, a solemn meeting was held in the conference hall of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan under the motto “The National Army — A Reliable Shield of the State!”, dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was actively attended by the management, heads of departments and centers, as well as employees of the Agency's structural divisions.
The solemn meeting was opened by the Deputy Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology, Mr. Pirzoda S.M. He congratulated those present on this significant date and read out a congratulatory message from the Agency's management.
It was emphasized in the speech that, thanks to the constant support and attention of the Supreme Commander—in—Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, the National Army has become a powerful and organized force over the years of independence. Today, the country's Armed Forces have modern military equipment and equipment, modern infrastructure, equipped educational institutions and highly qualified professional staff.
The Agency's staff also provided detailed information about the history of the creation, stages of formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. It was noted that the National Army plays a key role in strengthening State security, protecting independence and ensuring the stability of society.
At the end of the event, it was emphasized that educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, national identity and respect for state values is one of the most important tasks of society.
