On June 11 of the current year, within the framework of the internal action plan, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan conducted a scheduled departmental training session on the topic “Clarification of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Combating Corruption.’”
The event was actively attended by staff members of the central office, departments, centers, and divisions of the Agency, who received detailed information on the requirements and key provisions of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of anti-corruption.
During the training, participants were briefed on the content and main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption,” the tasks and responsibilities of civil servants in complying with anti-corruption standards, methods for preventing conflicts of interest, observance of professional ethics, as well as liability for committing corruption-related offenses.
In the speeches delivered by sectoral specialists, it was emphasized that the fight against corruption is one of the key priorities of state policy, and that the effective implementation of preventive measures, the enhancement of employees’ legal awareness, and strict compliance with legal requirements are essential for ensuring the transparent and efficient functioning of public authorities.
At the conclusion of the event, participants exchanged views on the topic discussed and received clear and specific answers to their questions. It was underlined that the conduct of such training sessions contributes to strengthening legal culture, increasing official responsibility, and preventing manifestations of corruption in the daily activities of employees.
