The final meeting of the first quarter of 2023 was held on April 7 at the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by Isfandiyor Shukurov, Head of the Department for Monitoring of Environmental Policy, Cadaster and Hydrometeorology, Validjon Kurbonov, Head of the Hydrometeorology Sector of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan, and all heads of structural subdivisions of the Agency.
Director of the Agency Qurbonzoda A.H. opened the meeting with introductory greetings to all participants and wished them success in their work.

The report noted that the Agency carries out its activities in accordance with the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Committee for Environmental Protection. The Agency is constantly striving to realize its goals, coordinating and working to forecast weather and natural disasters, and to protect and improve the environment.
In his speech, Isfandiyor Shukurov emphasized that the Agency for Hydrometeorology, as an authorized body in the field of hydrometeorology, is responsible for implementing the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation - President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, adopted in the 77th United Nations resolution, including "2025 - International Year of Glacier Protection", "March 21 - International Day for the Protection of Glaciers", the creation of "International Trust Fund for the Protection of Glaciers under the UN".
During the meeting, all the achievements were presented, and it was decided to give instructions to all structures related to the timely elimination of deficiencies in the activities of the Agency.
