On September 7, 2023, a ceremonial meeting was held at the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in honor of the “32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan,” during which management, structural divisions of the Agency and leading media representatives took part.
In his opening speech, the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology, Respected Qurbonzoda A. H. congratulated the workforce of the Agency and the entire people of Tajikistan on this significant day, where he especially noted: - “The state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan is a great achievement and the most important event in the history of our ancient Tajik nation, and is a sacred national and state holiday. It was thanks to the efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Respected Emomali Rahmon, that the fratricidal war was stopped in the country, peace was restored, which brought stability, mutual understanding and national unity, and in Subsequently, symbols of an independent state were adopted and favorable preconditions were created for the future development of the state, the formation of a national sense of self-knowledge and self-awareness of the people.”
In turn, Deputy Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Sheralizoda N.G. and Baidulloeva J.A. in their speeches they also emphasized peace, stability, mutual understanding and national unity in the country, the development of the state, and the formation of the national feeling of the Tajik people.
Speakers: Head of the Analytical and Information Department of Hydrometeorology Kudratov H.S., Chief Specialist of the Department of Personnel and Special Works Iskandarova V. presented the achievements of the hydrometeorological sphere during the years of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as youth policy during state independence.
It should be noted that at the gala event, a number of activists and veterans in the field of hydrometeorological service were awarded memorable awards and certificates of honor.
