On November 16, 2023 at the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a solemn meeting dedicated to "President's Day" and "31st anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan", which was attended by state and political figure, deputy of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear R.T. Mussoeva. Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon and Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Ecology and Land Management, Chairman of the Agrarian Party of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear Latifzoda R.B, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon and Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Gulakhmadzoda Z.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University Dear Mr. Uslmasov R.O., management and all structural subdivisions of the Agency, as well as representatives of mass media.
At the beginning, the Director of the Agency for Hydrometeorology Mr. A.H. Qurbonzoda made a speech and congratulated those present and the whole glorious people of the Republic of Tajikistan on two significant historical dates. In his speech he expressed the following: -"In honor of today, two important political events are celebrated in the political life of our respected independent republic - "President's Day" and "31st anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan". 31 years ago, i.e. on November 16, 1992, the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the ancient city of Khujand, which is remembered in history as "the fateful session".
Then in the speech of the state and political figure of the deputy of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear R.T. Musoev and deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon and Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Ecology and Land Management, Chairman of the Agrarian Party of the Republic of Tajikistan Dear R. Latifzod. B and Deputy Director of the Agency Mr. Baidulloev J.A. made informative speeches about the achievements during the period of independence of Tajikistan and about the uncompromising works of Mr. Emomali Rahmon. It was emphasized that indeed, the historic session of the 16th Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan is a golden page in the history of Tajiks, and the role of the Leader of the Nation, Mr. Emomali Rahmon is a great value in ensuring peace and stability, unity of the nation and strengthening the foundations of the new Tajik state.
